Signature Summary
As soon as the signature package is submitted, you will see a Summary which includes the status, unique signature package ID, email subject and body text, recipients and the signature package document. You have an option to download as a .pdf to save for your records.
Who is Signing?
Before you set up a signature package you should already know: (1) who is signing; and (2) their email addresses.
The Signing Experience and Automatic Email Notifications
Any other signatories will receive an email message from Lawyaw with the message and subject you provided with a link to the document. The signatory will have the option to electronically sign and must confirm that the electronic signature is a valid legal representation of their signature to continue.
The user who sent out the signature package will get email notifications once the signature package has been viewed, signed and once all signatures have been completed if there are multiple signatories.
Signature Trail
After the signature package has been completed, all signers will have receive an email with a link to the signature summary and signature trail. The signature trail includes time/date stamps for when the signature was viewed and completed. It also includes the IP address and email address of the signatories. This information can be used to verify an electronic signature if it is ever challenged.
