Tips and Tricks
A couple things that you can do from Microsoft Word to make it easier to insert fields into templates: (1) increase the view by zooming in to make it easier to see your document; and (2) display formatting by clicking on the "ΒΆ" button to make it easier to see the spacing.
Note: If the text you are replacing covers multiple lines, make sure to remove any hard returns or line breaks; your text can wrap over multiple lines but you should not see any line break characters (like "ΒΆ") in the text you are replacing.
Pause after Inserting Fields
Take a breath....
After you insert a field, take a quick pause to let the system insert the field into the document. If you move your cursor too fast, the field could end up in another part of the document. You should notice that the count next to your field has increased.
