Trouble Shooting Conditions
Testing Conditions
After you have set up your document, you will want to test it thoroughly to make sure it works in all different situations.
Go the Platform and choose your template. If you've made recent changes remember to refresh your browser so you are working with the latest version.
Go through the Journey and choose different scenarios that trigger the conditions. Next, try those scenarios that don't trigger your conditions. Is the template behaving as expected? Is proper spacing maintained if the conditions are triggered? Does everything look right when the conditions are not triggered?
Condition Tag Placement
If you are seeing extra blank lines in your generated documents, you may need to adjust your placement of the condition tags in your template.
When wrapping an entire paragraph or section, each tag needs to be on its own line and not touching any other text. Template Builder will insert conditions under this assumption; it is helpful to add an extra line before and after your inserted text to give Template Builder space to work, and these extra lines can then be removed once the tags are inserted.
